Watched the in-flight movies...

this Samurai film was quite borrring...BUT

The actor was quite an eye candy! (blush-blush*)

...should see what he did with his sword...sexy!

reading the newspaper...no I don't read Japanese...BUT
the pictures were irresistible... Oh deer!!!
~everybody together say, "awwwww..."

Lunch came in a 'Bento-Box'
...almost like opening a present!

The soy sauce came in this tiny-cutie-cutie bottle!!!...again," sooo... cuuuuute !!! " (dang* I really-really need to grow up!)

They served some sweet candies with hot Green Tea~

....Look at this street clock, it's by Bvlgari! Ehem-ehem* sad to say this, but where I come from this piece would probably be vandalised! Aaah...how great can this city be...crime rate is very low! Anyway...let's take to the streets... Time for more 'feast to the eyes' Darlings!

....The old and new are forever juxtaposed... The people are comfortable both wearing traditional clothings...whether to shoulder the portable shrines in religious festivals and piloting humanoid fighting machines in any robotic tournaments! ...or traditional Kimono and the latest European fashion! Perhaps the reason why the world never stops wondering how these civilized people actually build a harmonious link between tradition and innovation...What is so unique about Japan is the mixture of two extreme elements- the past, naturally and exclusively blends in with the future. A place you find Zen temples snuggle in sci-fi cityscape and centuries-old fondness for Sakura-Cherry Blossom coexists with a voracious crave for ever-changing innovation... Truly embracing both old custom and new practice in their daily lives! Fab-fab-fab!!! ...Well time to wind down my excitement just a little...cos' it's about time to end my Japan Visit here very soon... ~Thank you everyone who has shared this wonderful visit along with LENORENEVERMORE... Food Glorious* Food

....The best part about travelling abroad is sampling-enjoying all the exotic food...being adventurous with food is a always a good thing...

~Take a look(and drool!~hee*) at what they have to offer:

This man is the owner of a Japanese restaurant in a small alley near the Hotel where we stayed...He and his wife run this tiny cozy restaurant by themselves!

Here are the delicious dishes he had prepared for us... By the way, we did not even look at the menu...we told him, "surprise us with your creations mister!"...and he did just that...

...when I was not shopping, I loved to hang around the busy food department.

The smell and visual display were truly glorious!!!

alright-alright...I wasn't just hanging around, was busy munching my way through!

This is the basement of Isetan Department Store...

They dedicate the whole vast floor to food & beverages from all over the world...almost in heaven kinda feeling! Who's counting calories...certainly NOT me!!! ~Woo-Hoo!

~Great food should be enjoyed with new found friendsss...

I call this group my 'U.N Gang'(United Nations!) ...cos' they are from

all over the world- German, Mexico, Singapore, France,

China, Japan...& 'little me' from the U.S! (errr...not so sure about 'little' anymore my waist line is expanding! ~hee*)...No 'business talk' allowed at the table that evening! ~Yayyy!!!
