It was simply too hot to stay indoor last night...
so my darling dogs & I took a slow-breezy walk around the neighborhood.
~Well...take a look at what we saw :
.
" Ahwoo-Woo-Wooowwwwww..."
translation: the full moon was really magical*
(I howl like that sometimes!)
.
there's a little saying;
" live by the sun & love by the moon... "
.

Beautiful! I love the saying too :)
ReplyDeleteA moon like that is made for howling.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great saying!
ReplyDeleteIt's quite funny because it was only this morning that I was humming she-wolf to myself...ahwoooooooooooh
WOW! I love it!
ReplyDelete♥
I missed it. I think it was cloudy here though.

Lovely- we went for a night swim under the full moon last night.
ReplyDeleteI missed it. Thanks for sharing your pics.
ReplyDeleteoh wow the moon looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for capturing it so beautifully! I missed it sadly (everyone needs more full-moon sightings), but this makes up for it :)
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are FANTASTIC!
ReplyDeleteI am totally in love with that quote. And these shots are so romantic. Did your little puggies enjoy their walk with mama?
ReplyDeleteoh I love full moons. especially in orange-yellow shades. it looks like you had a great time last night darling! xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous full moon, darling!
ReplyDeletexoxox,

I did get a glimpse of it as I jumped into bed. We had a wonderful night with temps that allowed us to open windows again and turn off the AC.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been glorious to be out and about with your camera in hand and a beautiful moon over your head. It's sweet of you to share them with us.
A moon like that deserves a good howl from whoever feels the urge. You can always say it was the dog if someone should look at you with alarm!
Ren,
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so lovely!
HahaShaddy,
yup can always blame it on the dogs!
Thank you everyone!
xo
Yes!...My Kahuna went out to the store, drove around the corner, spied that big lantern, and immediately turned around to come back for me, so I could see it too.
ReplyDeleteMy photos are odd, and awkward.
We stood, parked in the middle of the street at the bottom of a hill, where the moon seemed to loom larger.
The camera just did not want to cooperate.
Cheers!
I can tell you one thing, Lenore - I could feel it. Mad customers, my daughter smashing her head in... Full moon in action.
ReplyDeleteooooh makes me think of werewolves! let me know if you see jacob out and about! :)
ReplyDeleteOh so lovely! We too had a full moon that night - of course! It always amazes me that the moon face you northeners look at it is the exact same face we look at too - only earlier! It makes me feel connected to the human race! (Hope that doesn't sound too weird!) Good luck with that heat too!
ReplyDeleteI love summer night walks Lenore, and the moon looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMagical pics! The first is so atmospheric and anticipatory.
ReplyDeletei am on the opposite side of the moon at night so i didn't see it... love your photos though!
ReplyDeleteAww that's such a romantic view.. I feel like I'm in some kind of vampire or Harry Potter movie! it's just so magical.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! They look so haunting and spooky!
ReplyDeleteThe sunglass collection was at a friends house - the stripey ones are like candy aren't they - also remind me of an old fashioned barber shop!
xx
Warm nights are so lovely. There is scarcely a better recipe for appreciating life.
ReplyDeleteI saw It! Such a great sight.
ReplyDeleteAnd all of a sudden, I'm really ready for October to get here so I can read some chilling Halloween tales. Spoooky!
