Renovation Update =

~Hello everyone!
My new dining room ceiling lamp was finally installed!
The wall color has also gone much darker now.
I want it to look more intimate & cozier the next time I entertain in this room...
.
This is where I purchased the ceiling lamp.
Design destination : Restoration Hardware
.
I've been looking for the right ceiling lamp for awhile now...
and finally fell in love with this design, displayed in the beautiful showroom.
Lurrrve...its simplicity & of course the humongous linen lamp shade!
well-well-well...
In spite of the initial 'stress' of this ongoing renovation,
it's beginning to feel like a fun project after all!
I'd like to update/share the progress as we go along...
Note to self : "Shall continue to enjoy each process the best I can
and not to go beyond the budget!" (...errr-errr???)
.
~XOXO*

  4. I've been there, too... put in bamboo floors in my last home... when the old flooring was pulled up, saw many problems with the subfloor. Eek! Had to replace it ALLLL... luckily, my step-dad helped out, so it wasn't as costly. But it also slowed down the progress. I loved it, though... new flooring, new kitchen... beautiful afterwards! Excited to watch your progress!

The new lamp is lush. Love it!

  5. Our dining room is dark also. I painted in "Get Back Jack," from C2Paint. It is kinda like Black Cherry Soda!
