British writer Bella Pollen's converted old barn in the English countryside.
Isn't this an amazing home library?
space = luxury indeed!

Amazzzing...books of Art by Isaac Salazar
Truly a simple idea of folding the pages, yet so well executed!
errr...who would like to attempt this with your old books?!

oooh, very cool!
ReplyDeleteI had a friend who worked for Anthopologie and did the art installations/displays there. Once she had to buy hundreds of books to make sort-of book flowers. It was really neat.
WOW! Fantastic! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat?! Who looks at a book and goes... gee, I wonder if I could do something more with it? I love it, it's just that creative people just are beyond my understanding. I see a book and I just read it. man, I am so boring!
ReplyDeleteThose books are AMA HAA ZING !!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you again !

That barn library is to die for awesome. I want one.
ReplyDeleteI tried to do a book sculpture like that... but with an old magazine. It turned out pretty cool, actually! But I didn't do anything too wild like that. Just a nice shape, and it was a fun project!
Incredible, that goes for the library and the book art!!
ReplyDeleteShari,

ReplyDeleteSome people are just so creative, love this!
ReplyDeleteAck, Lenore, where do you always find this amazing stuff?
ReplyDeleteAnd all these wonderfully renovated barns in my area... I'm not envious. NO WAY!
Lovely library, Lenore. Defacing books in the name of design art is a curious new trend. These look so cool though!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely effect going on there - love, love, love that library/ room too!
