COPPER : a malleable, ductile, metallic element having a characteristic reddish-brown color: used in large quantities as an electrical conductor and in the manufacture of alloys, as brass and bronze...
metallic reddish brown.

the eye-make-up looks so lovely. I wish i could make such a make-up :)
ReplyDeleteI love those photos in coppery brown! Such a beautiful color. That eye shadow is superb!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry I'm all late jumping on the brown bandwagon. I never liked this color growing up (reminded me of poop!), but I've warmed up to it since.
ReplyDeleteReally like the copper though with its hint of glimmer and glam :)
i love the shine factor of copper tones. i'm a brunette, and this color flatters me so well :]
ReplyDeleteLOVE YOUR PICTURES!!!

wow, i love this color...the picture of the fish scales were most inspiring...but very cool color...maybe it will help me step away from the black.
ReplyDeleteYes, yes and yes, coppery brown is lovely!
ReplyDeletethat eye makeup is very intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI loooove copper!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteso shiny, it's such a unique color.
it's very organic yet it has that metal industrial rusty feeling.
great.
OMG! so love the ey shadow... and yeah!! really reminds me of nature! seems copper is one of the season's colors!
ReplyDeleteI like this color but for clothes it's hard to style.
ReplyDeleteThe photo of the goldfish is stunning! Ive always thought of copper as being a background color and only recently did I see its ability to actually be the central focus in something without it looking dreary or boring.
ReplyDeleteVery very nice.
ReplyDeleteThat eye shadow is so intriguing...
xoxo
You're making me see brown in a whole new light! :) Love these glittery copper-like colors, gorgeous indeed! :)

Oh Jil. How I adore thee ...
ReplyDeleteThis post is so beautiufl, Lenore! I love the trio of images. Copper is such an underused color, particularly in clothing!
ReplyDeletexoxox,
CC
That's such an extraordinary color.
ReplyDeleteCoppery brown is great, but I cannot in all that is holy stand by and watch you give up pink!! *Shakes fist* Heehee. Your blog is great!
ReplyDeletevery cool photos!! i wish my asian eyes could wear eye shadow.. hahah
ReplyDeletePersonally I think brown is a bit trashy, it reminds me of those librarians in really poorly scripted porn movies (so all of them). Copper has a cool effect as ...eye....lid...paint...(the powder you put on your eyelids). It makes brown eyes pop like crazy. Like how girls with blue eyes look like walking oceans when they wear blue eye....lid...paint.
ReplyDeleteI always love checking out this blog. So much color, like a truck full of MnMs collided with a truck full of Skittles, and the slaughter of candy occured all over your posts. (Note to self: Fuse MnMs and Skittles to make a super candy)
I love the colour scheme it looks so beautiful. I must try the copper make up look one day!
ReplyDeletethank you! and i also hope the war ends soon too. so pointless UGH! i loove coppery brown colors! i love the eye makeup look!
ReplyDeleteI usually wear black - a lot of it. A few years ago I branched into brown - yay - now I've got colour in my wardrobe! These brown posts are particularly delicious - I just love the colours and textures of that goldfish!
ReplyDeleteoh i love this color.. especially for the fall/winter!

ReplyDeleteThank you dear! How is your weekend so far?
ReplyDeleteCopper brown eyeshadows are so beautiful!
ReplyDeletei adore bronze for fall. i have been using bronze eye pencil/shadow from estee lauder.
ReplyDeleteMy husbands world was brown- he is color blind and could recognize brown so played it safe and made everything brown! Grounded and serious, brown. I snapped him out of that! There is colour everywhere now though he can't tell if it is green or orange or ?
ReplyDeleteI think that colour has vibratory qualities and he is benefitting from the happy effects of red, orange, yellow and sky blue!Brown is good though too much of it can be a bit of a downer.
Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting! :)
ReplyDeleteThe makeup on this post is gorgeous! :)
