Strrrrrretchin'

" I need to stretch & be more flexible...
especially on Mondays!
...should I do a pose like this when
I show up at work next Monday??? "
.
... Ahhh...feeling so much better today...did some gentle stretching of the joints and spine… Not only In promoting joint and spinal flexibility, it also seems to promote a certain kind of mental ease and comfort! Yoga (or most any physical exercise) can be a great distraction from worry as it forces the mind to attend to the body and the breathing...certainly a very effective stress reduction and relaxation tool... generally cheaper than other professional interventions...less expensive than group psychotherapy?!
~Remember I was complaining after my Dance Party incident last week? Well- "Shame on me!" for complaining about getting OLD blah-blah-blah...& all my aches and pains... Why???

Just take a look at this inspiring* SUPER Grandma :

Meet Yoga instructor Bette Calman, 83 yrs young! She's still bending over backwards to spread the benefits of the ancient Yoga discipline...

She said, "I'm proof that if you keep at it, you'll get there. I can do more now than I could 50 years ago..."

She still teaches up to 11 yoga classes a week. We're never too old & the body is really a remarkable instrument...

Wow-wee! ...she can really pull some poses without messing her set-hair and pearl earrings! ~"You go girl !!!"
..
~INSPIRING* indeed !!!
.
