MouthFul~

~Hellooooo...
hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
As mentioned, I was supposed to 'perfect' the Art of Doing Nothing
over the weekend... Instead I was perfecting the Art of Cooking
and entertaining!
.
Poaching Salmon Fish to be precise!
Well-well-well...Last week I invited you to my bed room,
now to the kitchen...
Sooner or later off to the bath room where I take my ritual
milk bath like Madame Cleopatra!!!...whahahah -NOT!
Anywayyy...here are some kitchen action from my weekend.
~take a look :
.
Enjoy cooking uncomplicated recipes~
simmer the fish slowly in vegetable broth
add extra leeks & a piece of ginger & a little turmeric spice.
.
I love collecting kitchen gadgets!
.
2 parts of boiled Idaho white potato and...
.
+1 part of sweet potato & mash'ed them
.
add milk+butter &
a little roasted garlic+nutmeg+white pepper+salt to taste
-a dollop of sour cream+chopped chives as garnish
.
~My favorite part has always been to 'plate' the dish...
yup, it's all about presentation!
.
it's almost like painting I think...composition & all
the good stuff ~you know...visual delight*
.
some condiments; lightly pickled white radish & carrots
& some good source of fiber; peas & carrots
" Kids, eat your veggie okie! "
.
" ta-dahhh..."
.
~before devouring it, must click* more pictures!
[ that's what any good blogger does...ehem-ehem* ]
.
"...click-click-click* "
.
Finally got to use the new Belgian linen napkins...bought
on my last Amsterdam trip ~adore the heavy crisp woven linen!
.
oooh...almost forget to mention~
...drizzle some good extra virgin olive oil
...and serve~
.
Hoping for a more
Delicious+Yummy New*Week!.
.
~XOXO*
