So I stick to my awesome magenta sweater and black jacket and dark jeans or black or darkred pants! (Works with the black jacket only!)
I found an awesome black belt when decluttering (the wardrobes can be a wondrous place!), and now wear it all the time, lol!
Well dear, I guess I'm feeling the same.... well I feel like I'm handling a never ending fashion crisis.

ReplyDeleteSince we've been on the island, I have worn jeans every single day. I'm not kidding. In my "real" life teaching, my style is funky and practical, with lots of black and gray or chocolate brown livened up with splashes of color. This year I'm all about peacock blue/green and deep shades of plum or garnet. I can't imagine a wardrobe for me without a lot of black in it.

Hmm, this post made me realize that my style hasn't changed in approximately 10 years! Sneakers, jeans and a shirt still does it for me. And I always opt for blue shades.

Ooh, I love these necklaces! I tend to go for a combination of gray/black with a splash of color as well. When I'm wearing something with jeans, I'll choose dark purple, dark turquoise or a deep wine red for the top just to brighten the winter days a bit. I rarely wear light colors unless it's a light gray in winter.

ReplyDeleteWeeeeell...I'm into neutral skirts and flats and a floral top with a black or navy cardigan to top it off - and then I have but arse rings!!! Well, they aren't that big but they are bigger than the usual run of jewellery you see around - I'm a closet blong head you see!! I have also started wearing necklaces again particularly if I have a plain T on.....these necklaces are very hip me thinks!!
