Where Is Baby Jesus ?!!!
... 'Baby Jesus theft' is actually the theft of figurines of the infant Jesus from outdoor public and private nativity displays during this Christmas Season. Some attribute such occurrences to juvenile pranksters while others wonder if the thefts have anti-Christian undertones. There were also reports that the figurines had even been defaced with profanity or satanic symbols. The prevalence of such thefts or vandalism has caused the owners of outdoor manger/nativity scenes to protect their property with GPS devices & surveillance camera. ~grrrrr...so horrible isn't it?!

That just stinks!
ReplyDeleteIt is horrible and sad.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely horrible.
ReplyDeleteOddly, I have lost the Baby Jesus from my creche this year. We had it last year. Do you think someone stole it? No. Unless it was a roof rat. But still....
ReplyDeletepathetic!
ReplyDelete..oooops!
ReplyDeleteI think it's probably mostly kids who don't really know better. Love the holiday Header.
ReplyDeleteHope Baby Jesus returns in time!
ReplyDeleteI love cute colorful deers. Have a nice Sunday!
Aww! Who would do that?
ReplyDeleteThat's not good! Very sad.
ReplyDeleteGosh, that's horrible.
ReplyDeleteWell that's just a rotten thing to do. No two ways about it. :-(
ReplyDeleteIt's kids for sure. Funny, I was just thinking of starting a consulting service for disciplining other people's children. Like that Supernanny show, but without the commitment. I'll just come in and yell at them briefly.
ReplyDeletethat is terrible! they were talking about that last year on the news...people just have no shame.
ReplyDeleteby the way, I wanted to thank you for being a sweetie and adding my blog link to your list:) HUGS!!!!
sorry I haven't had a chance to come by sooner, been soooooo busy:)
xoxo,
Olivia
All it takes is a surveillance camera. Then caught red handed....
ReplyDeleteThat is really sad. All religion aside...it's private property and it's a crime. Why do people have to be such scrooges?!
ReplyDeleteIs nothing sacred?
ReplyDeleteI simply can´t belive it ;-(
ReplyDeleteDear Lenore. Thank you for all your coments on my blog this year. It brings me so much joy hearing from you.
Happy christmas, dear friend.
Love JM ;-)
Curiously, this has the effect of drawing attention to the problem of crime - and to the simple beauty and purity of nativity scenes, many of which are wonderful works of art and sculpture...
ReplyDeleteI TOTALLY love your new header! It's lovely.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, how crazy is that? What is the purpose of stealing him. Good grief. I hope they return him soon.

It is his own fault really, by thirteen he was basically self sufficient. Who doesn't want to raise a kid like that.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone!
ReplyDeleteWendy,Marcos & Bathwater...
you are too funny guys!
~Peace*
so ridiculously horrible especially the profanity and/or satanic symbols. yikes.
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteBut on another serious note I think Jesus is REALLY missing on Christmas, all that matters is the tree decorations and other ornaments, Santa giving presents... where is Jesus, if you know what I mean...
Much love to you my dear, many blessings.
xoxoxoxo
Oh that really is horrible :( I'm sure those people would face some kind of karma.
ReplyDeleteBut Jesus is so very alive and present.. one place is in our hearts. Have a good Sunday!
That's sad!
ReplyDeleteCute new header for the holidays!
taking christ out of christmas is what my ma would say.
ReplyDeletehope your weekend was awesome!!
That kind of behavior just shows how badly the world needed and still needs to celebrate the birth of Jesus who came to save us from our sins, even the sins of those who steal at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh... thats terrible!
ReplyDeletelove the new header btw, CHRISTMAS!

that is so disgusting disrespectful! i hate hearing stuff like this, makes me question what the juvenile of our world and what they're going to be doing in the future!
ReplyDeleteFunny post*°*°*°
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays dear*°*°**
No matter what one's beliefs, this is deplorable! However, I'm a bit ashamed of myself that I do kind of giggle at the image of a GPS system being taped to poor baby Jesus. What's wrong with the world today?
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone...
ReplyDeleteyup, Let's remember Christ in Christmas~
xo*
Some people...really bad that sort of behaviour. :(
ReplyDeletejust awful, regardless of your beliefs!
ReplyDeleteThat is so horrible, I thought that only happens in movies. Guess in real life too. Grrr!
ReplyDeleteThat is horrible...
ReplyDeleteHow sad :(
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone do such a thing?
ReplyDeleteRest assured that the people who do that sort of pathetic stuff make themselves more miserable than anyone else could ever make them. You get what you give.
