~Well... let me tell you what happened*
As part of the job description, I have to wine-dine-entertain
our business clients...(no...I'm not a real geisha!)
So I decided to treat them to one of
the finest French dining experience in Singapore.
.
Picked the perfect outfit to wear that night...and
.
yup, even had my hair & manicure done
in a salon~ to look cuter!
.
wooops~ had no time to steam-iron the dress though!
...too busy doing last minute eye-brow plucking!
~But still looking cute no?!
.
of course nail color must match the bag!
...not only cute but
you know...I'm dangerous like that!
anywayyy...
to make the long story short,
the dinner went well and the food was deliciousss...
but then...
.
When it was time to pay for the the dinner,,,
It went something like this!!!
.
.
" ket-ching$ !!! "
.
Thankfully, my clients & I did not
have to wash any dirty dishes in the back of
the restaurant-kitchen that night!
well-well-well...
All I know is that when I get back to my office,
I certainly have some explaining to do
with the account department!
errr-errr...burp*
.
~XOXO*

Love the Panda.
ReplyDeleteI've BEEN the Panda!
But Lenore, aren't happy clients PRICELESS? And with the help of your nearly geishaesque charms they will be faithful to your company forever, I'm sure!!
ReplyDeleteDishpan hands would have ruined those nails! Good luck with the accounting...maybe bring home something special for them.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sabine,
ReplyDeleteI shall copy your line when I have to explain to the office back home!
;)
LOL! Too funny. But you're in Singapore, you're allowed to live it up a little right? Surely they'll understand?
ReplyDeleteYikes!!! I've had that happen with a luncheon. Cute dress!! Ooo hope all goes well!!
ReplyDeletehaha so funny always! you look gorgeous Lenore! at least the little peek we could take... xo
ReplyDeleteSaw you at Photojoy's blog. Hey, fun post!
ReplyDeleteTrue, true Sabine!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they were so smitten with your purse-matching-nails that they will forever be indebted to that company of yours!
hehe Always price-check before going out to dinner.
ReplyDeleteOh, dear. Giant bills are always scary, but they say that sharing food with others helps create long-lasting relationships and many deals are made over the dinner table. Bring that reasoning to the accounting department. (And your dress -- it's stunning!)
ReplyDeleteYeah, don't worry. You are such a superwoman! You will make anything possible! "Mission possible"
ReplyDeleteLove your funny post tonight. You know, you make me sooo happy.
Ooh I hear Les Amis is awesome. Hmmm, just flash them a winning smile and while they
ReplyDeletere distracted fix your expense report!
Love it! Sounds like you're having a great time!
ReplyDeleteOh Golly! I'm glad you didn't have to wash dishes...
ReplyDeleteCute :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely dress/bag/nails, dahhhhling!
What a great laugh to the start of my day!

ReplyDeleteoh, i can only imagine how bad the bill was! i went out with friends last night for drinks and dinner, and we got carried away. we sobered up and got frowny faces as soon as the bill arrived!
ReplyDeletep.s. i wish you were a geisha. ahahhahah! that would lead to some AMAZING stories, no?
i just tried to leave a comment, and might have clicked away too fast!

Glad you escaped the restaurant kitchen but wait - might the big-bad-boss back home expect some creative pay-back for your french-themed extravagances (all for the team, of course!)....you looked s~m~a~s~h~i~n~g by the way oxoxo AJ

ReplyDelete-Becca
But dahling, you're on business... Singapore can get so hot and steamy, suggest you send your dress to the hotel's laundry for daily pressing and take plenty of ice cool cocktails to prevent melt down (at least pre-accounts).
ReplyDeleteLOL it IS a business expense. Hope you kept the receipt in a safe place!
ReplyDeleteLove it! And loving that LV clutch...swishy!
ReplyDeleteDid that panda poop himself? 'Cause I can just imagine what the bill was worth and I certainly would!
Your trip looks amazing!
HAHA that's so funny, my brother in law did the exact same thing in Sydney last year, and had the old "please explain!" haha.
ReplyDeleteFunny! And you look fab. Love the dress and the bag.

ReplyDeleteand yes that looks like the perfect little outfit...cute!
Oooooh! Another tantalising glimpse of the lovely Lenore - so pretty! Lucky clients to be wined and dined by you sweetie! Poor Panda!! Hehehe!
ReplyDeleteAw, you look so lovely! I can't get enough of the sneezing baby panda video, and this adaptation is too clever!
ReplyDeletethat make me laugh out loud!
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing because I know exactly what you mean. But it's my brother who is doing the big spending LOL!
ReplyDeleteBTW You look gorgeous dear. And all linen dresses have a crease or two. It's what makes them perfectly individual :)
