Weekend is upon us...

" hmmm...what's still missing in my Breakfast Room? "
~Hellooo...What are you guys doing this weekend?
I'm planning on scouring the vintage+thrift shops for a set of dining chairs...
and would love to have them painted creamy ivory white to match my china.
I hope it's going to be a fun little DIY weekend project.
...also hoping not to break any manicured nails in the process!
.
Have a Wonderful Weekend Everyone!
~XOXO*

I started my weekend early. I finished up work at noon, went to NorthPointe for a workout and stopped for a bottle of wine on my way home. I popped the cork and started sipping mid afternoon. I sank into a comfy chair, put my feet up and relaxed in my family room. Life is good!

Tomorrow and Sunday, who knows. I may be recovering from a wine hangover!!!!

I wish you the best as you enjoy shopping for the chairs you're looking for.

Happy Weekend to you,
Shaddy

I will go now with my two boys -10 and 8 years old - to their swimming class. The swimming pool where I take them is on the other side of the bay, just in front of our house. With the low tide we go walking by the beach. Soon it will be summertime, and with all this winter training, we will be able to swim to the island in the middle of the bay. We have been planning that every Saturday this winter. We wish we could help you with the painting this weekend what as you can see we are too busy :-) Now seriously: I love decorating, has always been my favourite hobby.

And thanks for your kind comments in my blog. I really appreciate them. I will write something about the beach and the pool one of these days. I should write about decorating too.
