" Aha ! "

Canadian artist Nadia Tan, literally had a 'light bulb moment' recently!
Her stove light blew out and was determined to do something creative with it...
She found this DIY site; 'how to hollow out lightbulbs'.
Now she gets quite excited every time she finds a burnt-out light bulb!
Take a look at some of her beautiful creations :
.
hanging vase and mini terrarium for her ginger root sprout.
~How CHARM-ing!
.
...And her adorable miniature paper clothes have
found their new homes as well! ~Brilliant!!

If I wanted to go for a cheap laugh I'd call these bright ideas, Lenore Nevermore, but I don't so I won't. :) I will just say that they are amazing creations. I love it when alternate uses are found for everyday items, particularly when they are turned into art. Thank you, Lenore!

Excellent!
The process does seem difficult though.
Or am I just being a bit 'dim'.

I love the bud vase idea! I did something similar in our jewerly windows once, where I hollowed them out, put some green moss in them and then placed the ring, or earrings, or whatever piece I was using on the moss to hold the item. I had a series of them in one window hanging at different heights.

I want to do something like that... except my boyfriend changed out all our regular bulbs with the energy-saving kind. So all the other bulbs still work, they're just put away. Hmph.

What an enlightened idea - much better than throwing them away.

Oh wow this is genius!
A bulb inside a bulb - that's what I call lateral thinking and as for those miniature clothes....adorable.
