" Great quote Uncle Karl! "
(errr...you know Karl Lagerfeld is my imaginary biological uncle, right?!)
Certainly an EXTRA-ordinary private library he has!
Don't we just lurrrve...the look of books in our living space?
.
~Well, for those who still don't have stacks & stacks & stacks of book collection
like my Uncle Karl, nor space for any of them,,,perhaps the 'Books Wallpaper'

I was just admiring those books wallpaper the other day! I see we're both loving books today:-). Thanks for the link love too! Great post! XX
LOVE all the book pics!!! But is your uncle Carl blind? Those glasses make him look like that.

That first picture - wow!
I am the happy victim of books because of Kindle. Yes I'm a happy convert.
p.s. If you ever try clay pot rice in Singapore, I tried Geylang clay pot and it's pretty good!
I love books so much! I mean, I love to read but I also love just to look at them and be surrounded by them. Stories abound! haha get it?
I love books too...such amazing pics....I wish I had more time to read....I even bought a Kindle thinking it would help...now that has been replaced by my Ipad...yikes!!!

I think I have about as many books as Uncle Karl (you and I must be related). My life gets taken over by them
As with David I have books everywhere, overflowing bookshelves, stacked here and there,,,,

I love books and love spending time at my favorite bookstores. I buy them when I find them interesting. It's so good to see the books sit in my shelves. I just need more time to read. Do you use iPad to read books? I don't. I enjoy touching paper pages and flipping one after another. I love the smell of books and love to feel its weight on my hands as well.
Stunning! I wish I had a book-room!
Yes we lurve - death to the Kindle and its ilk I say.
xxx
What a shame to have to settle for the wall paper would be.
I love books and it's by far the best way to decorate as well in my opinion :)
Have a lovely Thursday!
Unfortunately, I'm rather conservative and borrow most of the books I read from the library. I have a collection of leather-bound classics that I adore.
I fear that soon, the printing of
books will become a rarity due to the electronic age. I'm still being stubborn about that.
Ok, I want book wallpaper!!
I love this post Lenore! I hope someday to have a lovely little reading corner to disappear into! I love that first picture and the spiral staircase. Libraries and spiral staircases seem to go hand in hand, huh! Love the wallpaper idea!!! Thx hon!
xoxo
I adore books and I can't think of a better way to decorate. Not just the look and smell, but the tactile feel of plucking any one of hundreds of volumes off shelves...can't do that with a kindle! :)
Thumbs down to kindle~
Thank you everyone!
Love the library look Lenore x
I am guilty of e-book therefore, I need this wallpaper :I. I'm sorry authors :((
I would love to steal Karl's home -- what an amazing collection of books! And I adore that they're stacked differently than most libraries.
Karl! What a guy - how wonderful is his library! I bet he designed the interior himself. Books make the best furnishings I agree!
oh goodness. I want. that first picture is like, exactly everything I would want in a home. right now I have a large bookcase totally full of books and a growing stack next to it. the stack is a couple feet high at this point.
