Who would visit INDIA during the wet & rainy monsoon season?

" Me darling, ME!!! "
( yup,  I'm dangerous like that! )
As promised, more photos from my recent trip to India.
Rain or shine I was still busy clicking on my camera!
The rain certainly added a 'special effect' in the images~
~take a look, or better still,,,
take a taxi ride around the rainy+wet Kolkata City, India :
.

I was quite CHARM-ed by the old taxis there...~cute!
But not so much for the traffic though~ it was absolutely crazzzy!
( Instead of 'Eat Pray Love' ala Julia Roberts' movie,
It was more like; Scream Pray Scream!!! )
So glad to make it home alive in one piece!
.
PS: Hope everyone had a lovely weekend?!
Shall share my weekend 'rendezvous' with all of you soon ~until then!
..
~XOXO*

Very cool photos. In a couple of them the shimmer of the water gives almost an impressionist painting look, I think.

Oh how wonderful, I love the rain-washed effect - like an old movie. Of course, to imagine it with the heart-rending traffic adds that extra frisson of excitement! :)

Viewing the streets of India through steams of rain on the windows is awesome. Really!

I'm not used to lots of traffic so that makes me a bit crazy. With someone else driving though...it could be quite an experience.

Thanks so much for sharing.

I love those pictures of rainy days. The rain streams on the front window are focused and the background are so soft! Great! By the way what did you get from India? I would like to get some hints from you so that I can ask my husband for something good. He'll be leaving for Delhi next week.

I love the effect the rain has on the photos! Beautiful, really. I don't think I'd do well in the hustle and bustle of India. I need my space!

the rain does make your photos look lovely and glad you were in a car and not on one of those motorcycle or pedicabs!
