"errr...Marilyn is that you? "

Well, not exactly Darlingsss...
She is actually actress Michelle Williams photographed b
the great Annie Leibovitz for the latest US Vogue Oct issue!

Michelle Williams is starring as the legendary Marilyn Monroe in
her new film "My Week With Marilyn". This British drama chronicles the story of
the late actress when she made her first trip to London to star along with Sir Laurence Olivier in
'The Prince and The Showgirl'. It is based on memoirs by documentary filmmaker Colin Clark.
.
.Certainly not an easy role! To fill Marilyn Monroe's iconic shoes...but after
watching this trailer, I really think that Michelle Williams can actually pull it off!
To be released soon in the US in early November ~Can't wait to watch it on the big screen!

~XOXO*

She's so pretty! I think Marilyn was one of the most fascinating people. I mean, she had ISSUES up the wazoo but was so incredibly beautiful.

I love Michelle Williams and I love English dramas but I'd be surprised if I could sit through this picture. For those of us old enough to have grown up at a time when Marilyn was practically the queen of Hollywood, the glaring differences in appearance, voice and mannerisms are much more noticeable. I'm still waiting to see if Naomi Watts has a prayer of capturing the essence of Marilyn in her movie Blonde. Others have tried and all have failed because there was only one Marilyn and she is inimitable.

Michelle Williams looks like she's going to be a brilliant Marilyn Monroe! I almost forgot it wasn't Marilyn as I was watching the trailer!

Looks like it's going to be a sad movie... will have to wait for it to come out on DVD.... I hate crying at the movies!
