" Dear beloved...
open our eyes, hearts...& wallets please~ "

~Haiti is still desperately in need of our help, and will be for several weeks, if not months & years! Right now we can help a little or a lot with donations via the American Red Cross Haiti Foundation. Here we'd find more information on how to donate for the Earthquake relief. American Red Cross is currently accepting donations via phone. If you want to donate, call 1-800-RED-CROSS or 1-800-257-7575. You can also contribute via mail, sending to this address: American Red Cross- P.O. Box 37243, Washington D.C. 20013

Hello, lovely Lenore! I have been missing you, and what a perfect post to come back to. Every bit we can give to help Haiti right now is necessary. And you are so right; they will continue to need our help in the months and years to come.

Huge hugs to you--
Gigi

Lenore, is that new header you?

Yes, we must give... they so desperately need every dime we can give.

I'm just sick. I must stop watching the coverage of this for a few hours; it is getting to me.

Anyone with a cell can text "Haiti" to 90999 and it will automatically donate $10 to the International Red Cross.

Lovely new header, Lenore.:)

First, love the new header!! :)

And yes, Haiti will be in need of our help for awhile. We all need to reach out, even if it's only $20 or so.

Hugs!

Is that you in the new header, Lenore? How exciting!

Today, in the cities of Hyogo prefecture, Japan, we have a commemorative ceremonies of the Great Hanshin Earthquake which killed more than 6000 people 15 years ago. Many cities around the area now seem rebuilt and got active but people are still suffering from the sense of loss, the grief of losing families, damages physically and mentally. They still have long way to go. And we never forget giving prayers whenever we have news around the world of natural disasters.

Thanks for spreading the word on what to donate, and where and how. A lot has been raised but a lot more is needed to help.
Doctors Without Borders is also a good cause.

Lovely Sunday to you!

My dear Lenore,

Great post!

So Tragic..

Funds urgently needed.

Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and one that faces chronic humanitarian crises. Almost half the population of Haiti is under the age of 18 and already one quarter of the country’s children suffer from malnutrition.

For kids also you can visit the

Warm hugs..
