NUMBER 10

.
Google is turning 10 today everybody...Yay!!! .....It all began September 07 1998, the day when Google was incorporated. Stanford University students; Sergey Brin, then was only 24 years, and Larry Page, 25 started the company in a garage in Menlo Park, California, with $1 million in start-up funds and four employees. The company's name was taken from the word googol, which refers to the number 1 followed by one hundred zeros (and not from the cartoon Barney Google).

Ten years later, Google handles about 70 percent of the world Internet searches, with US$16.6 billion in annual revenue and 19,600 full-time employees and now worth an estimated 140 billions....What 1 million??? What garage??? What 4 employees??? (here I go again with numbersss... promise no more BBQ hee!). Anyhow, this is definitely a speedy growth and simply-simply astounding.... The importance of education, true dedication, hard work blahblabla... that is all great... But all I know is that I would never look at a simple - humble garage the same again...heehee!
