Apparently there are some kind of 'scholarly' disputes on the authenticity of the Fou drums used during the Olympic opening ceremony....they were merely/simply containers! (oooh....scandalous!).
C'mon scholars, take it easy...(relax!) Are you also going to dispute the 'glow in the dark' costumes next? it was simply...or merely the greatest show on earth with billions(count that!) of viewers...so what's your problem ah? Anyhow, doesn't the photo remind you of Tara Donavan installation (see previous post). LENORENEVERMORE says, " told you so..." heehee! What is Fou anyway... did some investigation and found out that the Chinese character for Fou is used to refer to containers...so there scholars!
